Happy Thanksgiving!

We had Thanksgiving dinner over at Nana and PopPop's house. Jackson didn't get any turkey but he still passed out right after eating! I tried really hard to get a good picture of all the boys together but you can see how well that turned out. Some of the pictures I let Parker take and he did a really good job. I had to post the ones of my Dad being obnoxious! (See what happens when you're being silly Dad! I knew it wouldn't embarrass you but I had to post them anyways!) I also tried for a good family picture, but that never works out either! Of course the one with Parker, Jackson and PopPop where they're all smiling and looking in the same direction is the one where I put the toy over the flash.

We had a nice Thanksgiving but it was hard to really enjoy it without Josh. We were very thankful that we got to celebrate it with his boys though. Every holiday from now on is going to be difficult, but we're taking it one day at a time. Please pray for all of us as we learn to adjust to all the changes. He may not be with us physically but he will always be in our hearts and our memories!

Turkey Hands

I decided to have some fun with Parker and paints! Here are some pictures of Parker making turkey's out of his hand. After the paint dried he painted on the legs and the waddle and I did the eyes! We made several so we had enough to give to all the grandparents and special people at Thanksgiving!

Jackson is 7 Months Old Today!

Jackson is 7 months old today! Here are the 7 month onesie pics. He's been doing really good with the baby food and seems to enjoy most of it! He's had sweet potatoes, butternut squash, carrots, green beans, and sweet potato puffs. You should see how excited he gets when you show him the puffs container. Jeff got some video but he hasn't had the time to show me how to put it on here. I will try to post it after the holidays when things calm down.

Jackson is getting up on his knees and rocking, but he's not crawling yet. My mom said that Josh did the same thing, but instead of crawling he went from rocking on his knees straight to walking at 8 or 9 months! I'm in big trouble when he gets mobile and I can't imagine him doing it that early! Let's hope he doesn't take after his name sake in that way!

If you watch the movie "ELF". . .

Jeff was flipping through the channels tonight and stopped for a little while to watch the movie "ELF" with Will Ferrell. If you watch it pay close attention to the little boy sitting on the mall Santa's lap when Will Ferrell is saying that he's not Santa. Jeff called me in to look at it and we both thought the same thing. The kid looks like an older Parker! What do you think?

Go Broncos!

Grandma bought this outfit for Parker before he was even born in honor of Great Grandma Crowley (Nanny). He's finally big enough to wear it! What a cutie pie!

Sierra Vista Holiday Party

On Saturday the Ethel Berger Center had a Holiday Party for the kids. Parker had a lot of fun playing the games and getting lots of prizes. (Almost all plastic "Army guys" and two water guns) He didn't want anything to do with Santa and Mrs. Claus though. Jackson had no problem and let us get some good first pics with Santa!

Just Hanging Out

Jeff snapped this picture Saturday morning of the boys watching TV together! We borrowed these videos called Your Baby Can Read and Jackson loves watching them. He actually laughs at the TV!

Thanks Jamie for the DVD's and Tonia for loaning us the Thomas chair! (Parker is sitting on a Thomas chair that we borrowed for a picture! I don't think he's going to be happy when we have to give it back!)

Hunting for Dinosaur Eggs

We had a Dinosaur Egg Hunt with the play group. It was such a nice day to have it! The weather was perfect. This was Jackson's first time in the grass. Parker hated the way the grass felt when he was that age, but Jackson didn't seem to care! The other two boys in the pic with Jackson are AJ and Jacob. They were showing Jackson their dinosaurs.

Nana and PopPop came over for dinner the other night! Here are two pics. from that evening! I love all these pics of Jackson asleep in different places. We were playing Scattegories and Jackson was kind of fussy. Jeff gave him the blanket and the next thing we knew he was out!

We had a play date the other day where we made gift boxes for Samaritan's Purse- Operation Christmas Child (a church organization that gives gifts to children in other countries) and advent calendars. Here are some random pics from that day. The advent calendars I came up with are made with paper chains and fun foam. I took green and red strips and wrote out the Christmas story so it would fit on 24 strips and then attached them to fun foam shapes. I made one into a snowman and put Parker's picture in it. I think I'm going to do it over and make it with some more decorations. I think he needs some arms!
