1st Time in the Bumbo Seat- July 21st

Here are some pictures of Jackson sitting in the Bumbo seat for the first time. I thought he was too young for it, but he's been holding his head up since the day he was born.

He loves sitting up! I had him laying against a pillow the other day and he was lifting his head and shoulders off the pillow trying to sit up!

Thank you Aunt Sue and Uncle Bill for the adorable outfit! We love anything with monkeys on it!

Look at that huge smile!

Parker's New Playhouse

Thank you Sue Bruce for Parker's new play house!

Parker has been having so much fun with a furniture box that Nana's friend Sue brought him. Parker and his friend Evan have enjoyed playing with the toys in there. Evan even connected one of Parkers pop up tents to it and made it even bigger! It's amazing how they can have so much fun with a box and be so creative! As soon as we get some nicer weather I want to take it outside and let him paint and decorate it!

My Little Pooh Bears- July 16th

My friend Dawn was over and she kept saying that Jackson looked like Pooh Bear! That reminded me that I needed to take these pictures.

The top picture is of Parker and the next one is Jackson. Parker was almost 3 months old in that pic. and Jackson is just a little over 2 months! I love taking these pics and then being able to put them next to eachother. Sometimes I think Jackson looks just like Parker and other times I don't see it as much!

Parker gets to feed Jackson for the 1st Time- July 13th

I finally decided it was time to pump and let Jackson try a bottle. Parker was so excited when I told him he could feed him! Jackson wasn't really thrilled with it at first but he got used to it. Look closely at the 4th and 5th pics. Jackson kept grabbing Parker's fingers! Every time I tried to get a close up pic. though he would move! He's also giving us the "bird" in those pics.! I wonder if he was trying to tell us something about the whole bottle experience. It took him forever to eat just a couple of ounces! I think he finally just gave up and decided he wasn't hungry enough to keep working for it! (I used a special nipple that's supposed to be good for breastfed babies. It's supposed to make it a little more difficult to get the milk than a regular nipple. They say it prevents them from getting lazy and not wanting to breastfeed anymore!)

July 12th, 2008

Here are some pictures of Jackson in an outfit Grandma Crowley gave him. The hat is a little small for his big nugget!

The next picture is of Parker with his Great Aunt Charlotte and Great Grandma Parrish. (Parker and PopPop are in the background of the first picture!)

Jackson discovers his fingers - July 11th

Jackson discovered his fingers! I was trying to take pictures of him and he just kept staring at his fingers. It was so funny to watch him. He'd put them up in front of his face and just move his fingers around!

This used to be one of his cousins outfits! He looks so cute in it! I'll have to see if Josh and Rosie have a picture of the Aiden or Ethan in it and put them up together!

Jackson is 2 Months Old!

Jackson is 2 months old today!

Jackson had his 2 month well baby appointment today! He's 13lbs. 5oz and he's 23 1/2 inches long! He's in the 68th percentile for weight! I can't believe how fast he's growing! Poor baby got 3 shots! You can see his band aids in the picture. 2 shots in one leg and 1 in the other!

4th of July

Happy 4th of July! We spent the evening at Josh and Rosie's house. We had dinner and then watched the fireworks from their backyard!

Thank you Mimi for Jackson's 4th of July outfit!

Wyatt and Jackson - July 3rd, 2008

Can you believe these boys are 3 weeks apart! My friend Jenn came over with her kids Madison and Wyatt. Wyatt and Jackson are 3 weeks apart and both of them are chunky monkeys! Wyatt has almost outgrown his infant car seat! I wonder how much longer it will be before I have to change Jackson's seat! When you compare their weights at their well baby check ups they're very close to the same weight. Both of them are strictly breastfed babies! I can't even begin to imagine what they'll look like once they start baby food!

BIG Smiles!

Here are some pictures of Jackson smiling! I love it when he smiles so hard that he gets moon shaped eyes! He's really smiling a lot now. Parker can get him to smile also! I love the last picture! I think he's trying to tell me, "Ok Mom enough with the pictures!"
