Help us name the baby!

Well we're still trying to decide on the name for the baby! Whether we like it or not, we pretty much have to go with Jackson for the first name! :) Parker won't call him anything else! He doesn't even call him Baby Storm Trooper anymore! When you ask him he's insistent that his baby brother's name is Jackson! I set up a new poll using Jackson as the first name, but with different combinations of middles names. Please vote again (scroll down and it's on the right hand side of the screen) or email us any different or unique names that you think we might like! I definitely want to use Joshua and/or Liam for the middle name(s) though. I know it sounds kind of silly to give him 2 middle names, but when you say it out loud a couple of times, I think it sounds like a really strong name! Besides, he can abbreviate it when he has to write it! I really like it that I can get both my brother's name and the name he really likes in there at the same time. Easter 2008!

Here are some pictures from Easter! I guess Parker wasn't in the mood for pictures because I had a very hard time trying to get him to look at the camera. We went to church with Mom in the morning! Parker had a lot of fun in Sunday School. When I picked him up the teacher said he was very smart and that he knew all the answers to the questions they were asking about the lesson! That shocked me because I didn't really discuss Easter with him that much. I started reading him an Easter book that told about the first Easter but I was having a hard time with trying to explain it all with out it sounding scary and dark! Maybe they were talking about something different! We read his devotional everynight, but even that didn't talk about Easter. I don't know if that's because it's monthly and Easter stories will be in April or what! But I was proud! We went to Josh and Rosie's house for dinner! 8 Months Pregnant!

Here are some pictures of my ever expanding belly! Jeff and I swear that I'm huge! Everyone else says I'm small for 8 months! I think they're just trying to make me feel good! I've gained a lot of weight with this baby! I feel much bigger and I'm a lot more uncomfortable than I was with Parker! Parker was really low compared to this baby, so I don't know if that's why it feels so different or what! I don't have as much swelling as I did with Parker, but that could be because I'm not on my feet as much! With Parker I had to take my wedding ring off in Dec. I just started having to take it off 2 weeks ago this time. I can wear it occasionally, but after a few hours I have a hard time getting it off! I'm afraid to leave it on because my mom had to have her's cut off when she was pregnant with me! I hate not wearing it though! It feels really weird and I don't want people to think I'm not married! I thought about putting it on a necklace, but I'm too afraid I'll lose it! Plus, Parker notices when I wear something different from the necklace that Jeff gave me for Christmas a couple years ago. The charm is a mother and child facing eachother. It forms a heart and it has Parker's birthstone (diamond) on it. He loves to play with it when I'm holding him and he tells me it's Parker and Mommy! I wore a different necklace one time and it really seemed to bother him! I wonder if we'll be able to find one with 2 kids on it when the baby comes!

Dyeing Easter Eggs for the 1st Time!

Here are some pictures of Parker and Jeff dyeing Easter Eggs! This is the first year we've done it with Parker! He had a lot fun making the eggs different colors! Tomorrow they're going to become deviled eggs for our Easter dinner over at Josh and Rosie's house! YUM!

Yeah for the warm weather!

Here are some pictures that I thought were just too cute not to share! Today the weather was so nice that we spent a lot of time outside! The hat is a little big, but oh well! He looks just like Jeff in the first picture! As you can see by the looks of our yard, Jeff needs to get out there with the real lawn mower and copy Parker!

Easter Egg Hunt

Today we went to the park for an Easter Egg Hunt. This was the first time we've done this! Parker seemed to enjoy it. They told us at the beginning that if you find an egg and half of it is clear that you win a big Easter basket. Parker got one like that, but when we went to redeem the egg they told us that wasn't the one! Needless to say, we were a little bummed but of course Parker didn't know the difference. He redeemed his egg for a water gun and was thrilled with it! In the second picture Parker is with his buddy Brodyn and in the 4th pic. he's with his buddies A.J. and Jacob.

3D/4D Ultrasound

Here are a few pictures from our last 3D/4D ultrasound! They didn't come out as clearly as we hoped for, but it was still great to see him! I think he looks a lot like Parker and Jeff. In the first picture his hand and foot are up by his mouth. I will try and get Jeff to put some of the video on here. He's just been so busy and tired when he gets home from work that it doesn't get done!

Swimming Lessons

Here are some pictures of Jeff, Parker and some of Parker's friends at swimming lessons. This is the 3rd year in a row we've done them and Parker is really starting to get into them. Now that he's older he listens to what the teacher wants him to do and can actually do it! So far Jeff has been doing all the lessons with him! I bought a bathing suit last week, but I'm really not wanting to get into it right now! I can't believe maternity swimsuits don't have more coverage! ICK!

Parker got a big box in the mail the other day from my Uncle Dave! Boy was he surprised to see what was inside- TRAINS! Uncle Dave and Parker LOVE trains! Thank you Uncle Dave for the trains! Parker has been having so much fun playing with them! For the first few days, everytime he talked to someone on the phone he had to tell them about the trains.

Potty Training

Parker is doing really well with potty training! We are so proud of him! I haven't been as brave as I should be taking him out of the house in the big boy underwear, but we're getting there! Here is a picture of Parker in the bathroom with Potty Elmo. Thanks Gabe and Sonora for giving this to Parker to encourage him to use the potty! Also, thank you Tina for the Choo Choo potty and all the Thomas stickers. He can't wait to pick out his sticker for the potty chart. The other day he used the potty in a restaurant and he started looking around the stall and wanted to know where the sticker chart was!
