It was such a nice day today! Parker got to go out and play in his pool! I think he was going crazy being in the house and for once it wasn't too hot to be outside for more than just a couple of minutes!

I bought these neat little kits to plant strawberries and tomatoes and I thought Parker would really enjoy helping me plant them. All I could get him to do was put the water in the bucket. He refused to put his hands in and mix the soil! I thought he would have fun getting dirty! I had to do the rest all by myself! I saved the tomato kit for another time and I'm hoping he'll want to do more with that one!

Jackson in the jumperoo! Sunday- June 22, 2008

I went to a few yard sales on Saturday and got some really good deals on stuff for Jackson! I wasn't planning on getting Jackson a jumperoo, but I got an outrageous deal on this! Way too good to pass up and it's in perfect condition. After I sanitized it and washed the seat I just couldn't wait to put him in it. I know he's still way too young for it, but I just wanted to see what he'd do! I love the last pic. Look at his little legs and feet dangling way off the ground! I also got him a walker, but when I put him in that to take pictures it didn't support him enough to let go of him and take the pic.!

Jackson has really been smiling a lot lately, but as soon as we get the camera he stops! He's such a stinker! Here are a few pics. from Sunday morning! Unfortunately he's not looking at the camera in most of them because he's looking at me. At least you can still see his smile and how cute he is!

One Month Well Baby Check Up

Jackson had his 1 month well baby appt. today! He's up to 11lbs. 9oz. (He gained 3lbs. 7 oz. since he was born!) He's 22 1/2 in long! I think they measured him wrong at the hospital. I think he was longer than 19 in. when he was born.

For the first year of Parker's life I took a picture of him every month in a onesie that said how old he was. I'm doing the same thing with Jackson. Here are his one month pictures! Technically I'm a week and 1 day late for his one month birthday, but oh well. Hopefully the rest of the months will be on time. I was going to post a picture of Parker in his one month onesie next to Jackson's but I forgot that I missed Parker's one month birthday and started it at 2 months!

Thank you Nana for the knitted blanket! Thank you Grandma for the monkey (I really think it looks like Jackson!) and the embroidered bib! Thank you Sharon for Eeyore and Pooh.

Unfortunately Tina had to go home on Father's Day! The two weeks she was here went by way too quickly! It was so nice to have her here! We got very spoiled! Jackson spent a lot of time sleeping in her arms! We tired everything we could to convince her to stay longer, but it would've cost a fortune to change her ticket!

These are pictures from the morning she left. She bought Parker the tent and tunnel set and got in it with Jackson to try and convince Parker to take a picture with her. Unfortunately Parker got sick right before she got here and didn't feel well at all the morning she left. He was being really crabby and wouldn't take any pictures!

Open Gym with Brodyn and Evan

I took advantage of having my mother-in-law here these last two weeks and got out of the house with both boys! I'm still nervous about trying to do outings with both of them by myself! We went to open gym at the gymnastics place with my friend Dawn and her son Evan and my friend Sara and her son Brodyn. We haven't been there in a while and Parker really enjoyed getting to run around. Normally he doesn't like the pit with the foam blocks, but this time he jumped right in. He also hung from the rings for the first time! I couldn't believe he was able to hang on and swing for as long as he did. His favorite thing there is the trampoline though! Jackson hung out with Grandma while we were there, but with the way he's growing I'm sure it won't be long before he's able to participate also! :)

*Note: It's kind of hard to tell in the picture, but Parker is wearing a monkey shirt that Grandma brought from Colorado. I thought it was fitting considering he's hanging onto those rings like a monkey!

While Tina was here, Parker and her made a Build-A-Bear Monkey! It turned out really cute and Parker had a lot of fun making him with Grandma! They had to sew him together, stuff him, give him a heart, and decorate his clothes. He came with a birth certificate but we haven't decided on a name for him yet!

June 11th & 13th

Josh and Rosie are house sitting for some friends who have a pool and a jacuzzi. We went over there twice last week to go swimming and eat dinner together. The boys all had a great time swimming! I can't get in the water yet, but I thought I would soak my legs in the jacuzzi and put Jackson's legs in also. BIG MISTAKE! I was holding Jackson and I stepped down on the first step and slipped and fell into the jacuzzi! Thank God I was able to get Jackson up high enough that he didn't hit his head on the concrete! I was so scared! He got a little wet, but that was all! I scrapped up my elbow and bruised it really bad. My back and hip feel a little bruised but that's going away quickly. The next time we were over there I sat on the edge and then had somebody hand Jackson to me! I put him in with Jeff and he seemed to like it! We had a really good time being with everyone and it was great that Josh was able to get in the water and play with the boys! It almost makes me want to get a pool of our own! (I just don't want the up keep!) My nephew, Ethan, was a little fish in the pool! I swear the kid has no fear! He was putting his head under the water and swimming around like a pro. A few times we had to catch him before he jumped in without the water wings on! He just turned 2 in Feb.

June 9, 2008- Happy Birthday Jeff

Happy 32nd Birthday Jeff! We all went to Tanuki's for dinner and then everybody came over for cake! I had to get Jeff his OWN paints and coloring book, because he doesn't know how to share Parker's paints and books! I swear I have three kids instead of 2 and I think the oldest one behaves the worst!

June 8, 2008- Pima Air & Space Museum

On Sunday we were going to go to the zoo in Tucson, but it was just too hot! Instead we went to the Pima Air & Space Museum!
