Chocolate Chip Pancakes!

On Thursday we had a pancake breakfast play date. Parker had choc. chip pancakes for the first time and loved them! I had no problem getting him to eat seconds!

Parker, Jackson and I all went in our somewhat matching sock monkey p.j.'s! I have a picture of all three of us together but I look way too awful in it to put it online w/o cropping myself out! I'll have to try and get another one later. If anybody ever sees men's sock monkey p.j pants for Jeff please let me know! I'd like for him to have a pair so we can all match for Christmas. I have winter sock monkey jammies for the boys and myself, but I haven't been able to find them for Jeff. Our's are blue so that would be great if we could find some for Jeff that are somewhat similar! For Parker's first Christmas we all had gingerbread men jammies! Silly I know, but I loved it!

Parker in Pop Pop's truck!

Parker in Pop Pop's truck!

Pop Pop is home for a couple of days so I took Parker over there to see him and play in the truck! Here are some pics of him playing with a flashlight he found and driving the BIG truck!

Great Grandma, Jackson, and Parker!

We've been trying to get over to see Grandma for a while now and we've either been sick or something would come up! We finally got over there the other day and this is the picture I got!

That Painting Place

On Wed. we went with the play group to a pottery painting place called That Painting Place! We had checked it out several weeks before because I wasn't sure if they were open or not. When we went in Parker saw a helicopter and couldn't stop talking about it! He was so excited to get to paint it that day! He had so much fun! I can't wait to take him back and paint more things! Jackson was upset that he didn't get to paint, but I'm going to take him back later to do his footprint on a tile! (I did that with Parker a few years ago!) He did have fun getting attention from Corbin though!

Burrito Baby!

I just had to get a picture of my little burrito baby! He woke up when I was taking the picture! At first Jackson hated being swaddled, but now it's the best way to get him to sleep for long periods of time! Thank you Gilma for the wonderful swaddling sheets! They worked really well for Parker also! The funny thing is that I can get him swaddled really tight and by morning or near the end of his nap he usually has one or both of his arms out! He's our Teeny Houdini! (Dawn- Sorry for stealing your nickname for Evan! It was just too perfect!)

This is another one of Parker's outfits! Parker outgrew this right after he got it so I wanted to make sure Jackson got to wear it at least a couple of times! :)o Look at those big grins! His smiles take over his whole body!

Here are some pictures of Jackson sleeping under the baby gym! Parker never fell asleep like this! Jackson likes to grab the thing that's over his face. It's kind of like a chime!

Saturday at the Park

On Monday we went to this great playground with the playgroup. I think I want to make this our regular playground. It's just a nice little playground kind of hidden away in my friend's neighborhood. The play area is completely shaded and it's really clean! On Saturday Jeff, Parker, Jackson, Nana, Aiden, and I all went and spent the morning there.

Look closely at Jackson's expression in the 5th picture! I love it! I was trying to get all 3 of the boys together but I couldn't get them all looking at the camera at the same time!

Outgrowing another outfit!

Here are some pictures of Jackson in another outfit he's only going to get to wear a few more times. I love overalls on kids!

In the one picture he's holding one of Parker's baby toys. He's starting to grab onto things and hold them more now. I decided I would get down two big boxes of baby toys that I put away after Parker had outgrown them. He doesn't seem all that interested in them right now, but I'm sure it will only be a short time before he is. Parker's having a lot of fun with all the "new" toys! I keep telling them they were his when he was a baby. I can't wait to get a picture of Jackson with Parker's favorite apple! When I get pictures of him with it I'll have to compare the pics. and tell the story of it!

Planting Flowers!

There are lots of pictures for this post!

We were supposed to go to a "Green Thumb" play date and plant a flower but Parker got sick the night before. We already had all the stuff so we did it on our own. The first few pictures are of Parker decorating his pots. I got one for him, one for Great Grandma Parrish and one for Omi. He really enjoyed painting, but he hated wearing one of my old shirts! I had to use safety pins to keep the sleeves up and one in the back to make it fit him a little better! I'm going to have to find or make him something he can wear that will protect his clothes when we do something this messy! The funny thing is that he hated that his hands got messy. He kept asking me to wash the paint off of his hands but he wanted to keep painting!

Later that afternoon my Aunt Rose Mary came to visit with my cousins Gabe and Sonora. We took the kids outside and let them plant the flowers that Parker had picked out! This time Parker didn't seem to mind his hands getting dirty!

When we were done we went to see Omi and Grandma and give them their flowers. Unfortunately the battery on the camera died after taking the one picture of Omi and Jackson. I wanted to get pics. of Parker with Omi, Grandma, and the flowers but of course it didn't work out how I planned! Parker wasn't really cooperating anyways!

Bubbles at the park!

On Monday we went to one of the neighborhood parks with the new play group we joined. We all brought bubbles and the kids had a blast! I think they all went home coated in bubbles but they had a lot fun!
