Go Broncos!

Grandma bought this outfit for Parker before he was even born in honor of Great Grandma Crowley (Nanny). He's finally big enough to wear it! What a cutie pie!

Sierra Vista Holiday Party

On Saturday the Ethel Berger Center had a Holiday Party for the kids. Parker had a lot of fun playing the games and getting lots of prizes. (Almost all plastic "Army guys" and two water guns) He didn't want anything to do with Santa and Mrs. Claus though. Jackson had no problem and let us get some good first pics with Santa!

Just Hanging Out

Jeff snapped this picture Saturday morning of the boys watching TV together! We borrowed these videos called Your Baby Can Read and Jackson loves watching them. He actually laughs at the TV!

Thanks Jamie for the DVD's and Tonia for loaning us the Thomas chair! (Parker is sitting on a Thomas chair that we borrowed for a picture! I don't think he's going to be happy when we have to give it back!)

Hunting for Dinosaur Eggs

We had a Dinosaur Egg Hunt with the play group. It was such a nice day to have it! The weather was perfect. This was Jackson's first time in the grass. Parker hated the way the grass felt when he was that age, but Jackson didn't seem to care! The other two boys in the pic with Jackson are AJ and Jacob. They were showing Jackson their dinosaurs.

Nana and PopPop came over for dinner the other night! Here are two pics. from that evening! I love all these pics of Jackson asleep in different places. We were playing Scattegories and Jackson was kind of fussy. Jeff gave him the blanket and the next thing we knew he was out!

We had a play date the other day where we made gift boxes for Samaritan's Purse- Operation Christmas Child (a church organization that gives gifts to children in other countries) and advent calendars. Here are some random pics from that day. The advent calendars I came up with are made with paper chains and fun foam. I took green and red strips and wrote out the Christmas story so it would fit on 24 strips and then attached them to fun foam shapes. I made one into a snowman and put Parker's picture in it. I think I'm going to do it over and make it with some more decorations. I think he needs some arms!

Bucket Boy

Parker dumped all of his Geo Trax out of the bucket in his room and brought the bucket into the living room. We thought it would be funny to put Jackson in there and see what he would do. Parker took the first picture.

Sleep Jumping

Jackson fell asleep in the doorway jumper! It was so funny! After I took the pictures I decided I would leave him there for a minute so I could finish getting ready for bed. All of a sudden I hear him jumping again. I look out and he's half asleep. He jumps for a few seconds, closes his eyes and goes back to sleep! He did it a few more times after that! He can fall asleep anywhere, it's getting him to stay asleep that's the problem lately!

Here are some pictures of a few of my relatives from mom's side that were able to make it to Josh's memorial service. My Uncle Dave came from PA, my cousin Ben came from FL, and my cousin Lindsay came from Phoenix. Thank you so much for coming! It really meant a lot to us to have you there!

6 Month Comparison Pics

Here are the comparison pics of Parker and Jackson both at 6 months old!

Jackson is 6 months old today!

I took Jackson in for his 6 month well baby appt. and to get a flu shot! He weighs 18lbs. 13oz, he's 27 1/2 inches long and his head is 44cm! I really thought he'd be at least 20lbs. I was shocked that he didn't gain more since his last appt. He's changed so much in the last two months. He started sitting up on his own when he was about 5 1/2 months! He loves to be able to sit up and play on the living room floor. He still wants to be held all the time but he'll play for a little while before he starts fussing! I've been giving him rice for a couple of weeks and now I'm starting him on veggies. I gave him butternut squash the other day, but he didn't seem to care for it too much! That was one of Parker's favorites.

The last 3 pictures were taken by Parker! He held the camera and did everything by himself. We may have to look at those kids digital cameras for him for Christmas! He could turn out to be quite the photographer!

Sleep Walking??????

I was in my bedroom the other afternoon feeding Jackson and talking on the phone. I had just put Parker down for a nap about 20mins before that. I heard something on the baby monitor and I thought for sure I would see Parker in just a few seconds. When he didn't come into my room and I didn't hear the TV in the living room go on, I thought that maybe he was just moving around in his bed and that I didn't hear his door! I finished what I was doing and went to switch the laundry over. Here are pictures of what I found by the laundry room door! I don't know if he was sleep walking or what!!!!! Usually if he gets up from his nap early and he's afraid I'll make him go back to his room he'll quietly go sneak onto the couch and finish his nap there. Who knows what happened but I had to get a picture of it! When I first saw him I got really scared that something was wrong! I actually had to make sure he was breathing before I went to get the camera! Unfortunately I woke him up while I was taking the pictures!

Halloween

Happy Halloween! This was Jackson's 1st Halloween. Jackson and I both went as Winnie the Pooh (just like Parker and I did for his 1st Halloween!) Parker went as Buzz Lightyear again! He wasn't really happy about wearing the costume last year but when I got it out to sell it this year he pitched a fit and said he wanted to wear it this time. This year he wore it and had a good time. He got a lot of comments on it! Jeff also got a lot of comments on his Eve and Wall E pumpkin! It turned out really well! Mom handed out candy until we ran out and then she met up the rest of us. Parker really enjoyed having Pop Pop be his limo driver for the night! We took the dbl sit and stand stroller so Parker could hop on and off in between the houses. We didn't have a whole lot of people in our neighborhood that turned on their lights. He still got a whole pumpkin full of candy though!
