Well I guess we're trying the potty training thing AGAIN! He started it all on his own and then wanted nothing to do with it! Now he goes back and forth from crying when we put him on it and then loving it the next day! The last couple of days he's been pretty good if I just put him on it and don't ask him. He fusses for a minute and then his body just automatically does what it's supposed to and he's so shocked he stops fussing and gets happy that he did it! These pictures are from the other night. His girlfriend Lily was over to play and we tried to get both of them to use the potty! We thought if they saw each other do it that it would encourage both of them. Lily tired and then Parker went! I let them paint as a reward! This is the first time Parker has gotten to use watercolor paints! Thanks Nana and PopPop for the book and paints! Both of the kids had a great time!

Yesterday we got Parker to go in the potty several times and he finally let us put the big boy underwear on him again. (He wore them one night a long time ago and cried every time I tried to put them on him afterwards!) He was so excited to be a big boy! The problem came when it was time for bed! He wanted to wear them to sleep and I didn't want to have to change a wet bed in the middle night! When I told he had to wear the diaper for night time he cried and told me diapers were for babies! :( I tried offering the pull ups and he refused! Finally when I told him it was time to put his jammies on he said he was ready for the diaper! I was so happy that I didn't have to force him to wear the diaper! Hopefully he'll want to try the underwear again today! I don't know what to do about night time once we really get going with this though! He just won't wear the pull ups!

Nana and I took Aiden and Parker to the park! They had so much fun playing together! The second to last pic. of Parker is him pretending to play McDonald's Drive Thru! Jeff said one time when he took him to play there he played with some older boys who were pretending that and he remembered! McDonald's is one of Parker's favorite places to eat! He can point our every McDonald's sign he sees! He loves those Happy Meals!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day! Parker actually let me take his picture and he cooperated for this one! These are the Valentine's we made for our family. Eversince I told him his shirt says Prince Charming he wears it and loves it! One day he asked me if I was his Princess! It was so cute! He was in such a good mood on Valentine's Day that he even told us he wanted to take pics. with his baby brother! I like this one the best! The other 2 pics. are of him opening presents from Grandma and Grandpa Crowley! Sorry Nana and PopPop we didn't get pictures of him with your gifts! :(

Parker loves books! Every night before bed he picks out one book for Daddy or I to read to him and then we read the devotional book that my Aunt Sue got him! The night we took these pictures he told us he was going to read to us instead! In the first picture he's reading one of his favorite books. It's one that Nana and PopPop gave him for Christmas called God Gave Us You! It talks about a Momma and Daddy polar bear who are telling their child about how she was born. Parker's favorite part to repeat is how the Momma's belly got bigger, and bigger, and bigger!

February 9, 2008 Play Date

Here are some pictures from Parker's play date! We had A.J., Brodyn, and Lily over for the afternoon and everyone had a great time playing. They especially loved the trampoline. In the one picture you can see where we turned it upside down and made a fort out of it!

Here are some 6 month belly pics. (technically 25 weeks and 4 days, so almost 6 1/2 mos.) He's really starting to pop out now! The third pic. is of Parker giving the baby "raspberries" He loves to do that!

Music Together Class

I took that last night while we were watching tv and getting ready for bed!
