Canvas Painting Play Date

Here are some pictures from a canvas painting play date. Parker liked using all the colors and making an abstract picture. Normally he likes to draw little people, but this time he just wanted to do something different!

Jackson's Christmas Stocking

Thank you Omi for Jackson's Christmas stocking! I love that all of our stockings are handmade and that Jackson's is similar to the one you made for Parker. We will always treasure them!

Decorating Nana and PopPop's tree

We went over to help decorate Nana and PopPop's tree. Aiden really enjoyed hanging up his Daddy's ornaments and Parker enjoyed hearing about the ornaments that were his. Jackson had fun exploring something new!

Sierra Vista's 1st Night Time Christmas Parade

This was the first year Sierra Vista had a night time Christmas parade. Mom and Aiden went with us. We bundled up the kids and took hot chocolate and cookies. It was pretty cold but we still had fun. It was neat to see everything lit up. I'm hoping they'll do this again next year! We never get up early enough to go the ones they have early in the morning!

Santa Claus is coming to town

On Dec. 6th I took Parker to see Santa Claus. He and Mrs. Claus arrived in a helicopter in the Ace Hardware parking lot! Besides trains, helicopters are another one of Parker's favorite things. We got to watch him land and then he handed out candy and took pictures with the kids. I think Parker had more fun getting in the helicopter than anything though. I have no idea who the kids are with him in the first picture. They were in line in front of us and he insisted he was going with them. Their mother said it was ok so I took a picture of all them and then got one of Parker by himself. Unfourtuately after the picture he wanted to play in the helicopter and we had to let the other kids in line have their turn. Needless to say he wasn't very happy about that and made a big scene! I told him Santa was watching but I guess he's still a little too young to use that one and have it make a difference!

Monkey Slippers

My mother-in-law bought Jackson the cutest little monkey socks. I tried to get a good picture of him wearing them, but it's a little difficult to see them in the pics. I love all the monkey stuff! I found this outfit at Old Navy before he was even born! Hopefully he doesn't outgrow either of them too quickly! He looks so adorable in them! Thanks Tina for always finding the cutest monkey things for us!

Dec. 1st- Plater Handprints Play Date

We went to a Plaster Handprints play date! Unfortunately ours didn't work out as well as I had hoped. Parker refused to do it and Jackson's set up kind of funny. Maybe we'll try it again some other time! We still had fun hanging out with all the other mom's and kids!
