Parker is such a great BIG brother! He keeps telling us, "I just love having a baby brother"! He's very gentle with him and loves to kiss him! He likes to hold him, but the second Jackson gets even a little fussy he wants us to take him!

The baby should be here by tomorrow,- IF NOT SOONER!!!

I went for my last OB appt. yesterday! I was 3cm dilated and 70% effaced! Jeff and I really wanted to let this baby come on his own and have the surprise of it all, but as of right now I'm scheduled to be induced tomorrow at 6am! The only reason we're giving in is that the Dr. on call this weekend is not one of my Dr.'s and I'm terrified of her delivering me! It would be just my luck that he would decide he was ready to come while she's on call! We're still hoping he'll come on his own before I get induced! I have contractions all the time, but they never go into a regular pattern! The Dr. said because I'm 70% effaced that it would be a "chip shot" if he induced me! (I'm guessing that's a golf term!) He said he didn't think it would take too long for him to come after I was induced! So we're hoping he'll come before then, but if not we should have our little boy by sometime tomorrow! We will update everyone as soon as we can. Check back here for updates and pics! Please pray that everything will go smoothly and that he will be very healthy!

Baby's Coming Soon!

Just a quick update! I had a Dr.'s appt. today and found out I'm dilated 2cm. I'm really hoping for Thursday, May 1st as a birthday! That would've been my grandparent's anniv. and it's my Uncle Dave's birthday. The Dr. said Thursday could be a possibility! I'm hoping he comes before next weekend because I'm afraid of getting stuck with the Dr. who's on call next weekend and I'm just really ready to be done with this! Keep your fingers crossed and pray that all goes well and that I have the baby very soon! I've been having lots of contractions but they never turn into labor contractions! We're going to have to start trying all the old wive's tales! Except the castor oil! I'm definitely not doing that one! We'll let you know as soon as anything happens!

Family Belly Pictures

On April 7th, we went over to my friend Jessica's house and she took these amazing pictures for me. These are just a few of my favorite ones. Jessica was my boss when I worked at the Sears portrait studio. She also took my belly pics when I was pregnant with Parker (that was how I got to know her and got the job at Sears) She no longer works there but would like to start her own business. She's working on doing that now, so if anyone needs pictures taken, let me know and I will give you her info. She's absolutely wonderful! Everyone always requested her at Sears!

Here are some pictures of Parker getting ready to be a good big brother! Jennie, Lily and Ryan got Parker this baby for his birthday. He was so excited. He's been "borrowing" one of Lily's baby dolls for the past several weeks and didn't want to give it back. Now he has his own! He of course named the baby, Baby Jackson!
