While we were at the Forney Museum of Transportation I saw a brochure for the Hammond Candy Factory and realized it was right down the street. I had seen it on the Food Network Channel and always thought it would be neat to go there. The pictures aren't the best but you get the idea! We got to see the guy making "chicken bones". It's like the inside of a butterfinger with toasted coconut on the outside. Of course when the tour was over we had to go to the gift shop and buy some of the different candies!
