On Saturday we started swimming lessons for both kids. Parker has moved up to the Otters class. This means he does it without Mommy and Daddy! For those of you that know me well, you know this scared me a little! When we got there and I saw that it was just the instructor with Parker and one other little girl my fears were relieved! He wasn't too sure about it at first but then it looked like he was having fun. He needs to learn to follow directions a little better though. I told him that if he really wants to go to school (which he tells me all the time) that he's going to have to learn to listen and follow directions! We'll see if that works or not! Jackson is in the Starfish class and his instructor was Parker's instructor for his first or second class (I can't remember which one for sure). Jeff did the class with Jackson this time and as soon as I find a bathing suit (UGH!) we'll take turns. The instructor recognized Jeff and remembered that she had been Parker's teacher! Jackson did ok. He didn't fuss but he didn't really seem happy. He was just kind of there. I think it was just too early in the morning for him and the warm water makes you sleepy. Hopefully he'll have more fun next weekend. One of the little girls from the mom's group is in his class and she loved it!
